I have been meaning to write this post for a long time but after today’s class, I just couldn’t wait and as a result instead if studying in the library, I am here at the lab typing away on my blog.
As the title suggests, lately I have been greatly motivated by our Bangladesh Studies lecturer. The way he talks about the history of our country…..history is one of my favorite subjects since childhood but the problem with the subject is that if not taught properly becomes very boring. Unlike other boring teachers I had in my school years, the teacher at TARC is far far better. The way he speaks and describes the scenario, it seems I can see the stories unfolding in front of my eyes. I am not only looking forward to finish studying the notes he provided but also buy and borrow some of the books from the library. I felt goosebumps on my arm as he described the scenario of the 1971 Liberation War. It also inspired me to write a paper on the topic. There are so many untold stories of 1971 and I think that I can do my duty by sharing these stories with my friends from the Global network.
The Shadhin Bangla Football Team, the Freedom Fighters from the Cultural Sector….there is so much to say, so much to know.
